Code of Conduct

Through several years of being a Toastmaster, a Master of Ceremonies and by further training at a top Toastmaster Association I have gathered together by first hand experience some guidelines for good conduct and behavior which should be undertaken by all Toastmasters and Wedding Toastmasters.

To conduct ourselves in a professional manner and perform competently and to the highest possible standards at all times.

To refrain from participating in any alcoholic beverages whilst working for the clients.

To present or supply services honestly and without misrepresentation, avoiding the use of false, confusing, inaccurate or misleading terms, descriptions and claims.

To earn, establish and maintain a reputation for giving excellent quality and service.

To provide proper, fair, reasonable and efficient services to all clients.

To deal promptly with any issues and to make every client an ambassador for our services.

To advise every client, if required through our experience as we would wish to be advised as if we were the client.

To help every bride and Groom in any way possible and to install confidence and assurance from the initial meeting.

To recognise that other toastmasters will compete for business within lawful practice.

To maintain the highest reasonable level of safety for all services.

To be responsive to and available for clients before, during and after the event.

To hold adequate public liability insurance.

This Code of Conduct is a guideline and does not represent the entire scope of good conduct.

The correct spelling for Toastmaster or Toastmasters is as one word and not Toast Master or Toast Masters.
